When Doctor Who was broadcast during the 1960’s, it was in glorious monochrome. The adventures of William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton’s incarnations of The Doctor had a magic all of their own, as they faced the legendary Daleks and Cybermen, and the lesser remembered foes such as Macra and Moroks.

Monochrome Magic contains commentaries for individual episodes from the early years of Doctor Who, including The Space Museum, The War Machines, The Macra Terror, The Seeds of Death and The Space Pirates, as well as an interview covering The Power of the Daleks.

Disc One

THE SPACE MUSEUM – EPISODE ONE: Spencer Chapman

THE WAR MACHINES – EPISODE FOUR: Margot Hayhoe & Michael Ferguson

POWER OF THE DALEKS BONUS INTERVIEW: Anneke Wills

Disc Two

THE MACRA TERROR – EPISODE FOUR: Maureen Lane

THE SEEDS OF DEATH – EPISODE ONE: Wendy Padbury, Martin Cort & Sylvia James

THE SPACE PIRATES – EPISODE TWO: Wendy Padbury & Frazer Hines

Moderated by actor, comedian and cult television enthusiast Toby Hadoke, this release features Wendy Padbury (Zoe), Frazer Hines (Jamie), Anneke Wills (Polly), Martin Cort (Locke), Maureen Lane (Drum Majorette), Margot Hayhoe (Assistant Floor Manager), Sylvia James (Make-Up), Spencer Chapman (Designer) and Michael Ferguson (Director).

These CDs can be enjoyed on their own or played in conjunction with the official BBC DVD release.

These commentaries contain no BBC copyrighted elements and do not feature audio from the episodes themselves.
